This Privacy Policy applies to the "Omnivox" platform, composed of our Omnivox Portal, our Omnivox Online Services as well as our Omnivox mobile app.

If you are an Omnivox authorized user, it is because the Educational institution to which you are attached as a student, teacher, employee or authorized member has chosen to adopt this platform. As such, we are committed to protecting the personal information stored by Omnivox by following responsible information handling practices in keeping with privacy laws.

Some services offered by Omnivox are collaborative in nature between users, such as the internal messaging service. In these cases, personal information may be presented to users to ensure proper operation of these services; for example, to identify the person to whom you wish to send a message. Personal information may also be shared with your Educational institution’ authorized staff members, with informational systems chosen by your Educational institution, with individuals or organizations authorized by your Educational institution, or when required by a governmental authority or law. You must provide your consent on Omnivox before it will transmit any personal information about you to any other business or organization. Such consent is received by such acceptance you make online, or when you decide to use a service accessed through Omnivox but offered by a third party organization or company. In these cases, Omnivox solely communicates the information required to operate the service you choose to use.

Third Party Sites and Services

Omnivox may allow you to access applications and online services from third parties, that is to say from other manufacturers than our company. When a service accessed through Omnivox is provided by a third party, it is not subject to this Privacy Policy, but to that of the given third party. Personal information collected by third parties is subject to the privacy policies of these third parties. This can for instance be the case if the Omnivox Portal, offered by your Educational institution, provides access to an online service from another company, such as an email service or file storage service. We invite you to review the policies of such third parties regarding confidentiality.
